The Italian Cultural Institute is pleased to sponsor and host the dellamostra H2O - New Scenarios for Survival organized in collaboration with the Design Exchange.
H2O is part of digifest, an International Festival of Culture and Media Design Biennial 3 days, presented by the Design Exchange in collaboration with Harbourfront Centre and Ontario Science Centre. The digifest will open its doors by 27 to the 29 March.
H2O – New Scenarios for Survival consiste in 120 posters graphic designers tackle the various aspects of Italian political, water-related environmental and social, tematicheche coincide with the theme chosen for the Digifest 2008.
The exhibition, edited by Roberto Marcatti present a selection of water bottles from all over the world and a series of posters that are achievable proposals and projects for water harvesting, its purification, transport, distribution,the recycling process, looking to meet new needs open by climate change.
The exhibition explores the many aspects that this fluid may: formless and therefore inappropriate to take any form, is odorless, tasteless, constitutes an essential source of nourishment without which life could not exist. Professor Marcatti held a conference at the DX in early March to coincide the exhibition conl'apertura, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and the Design Center in Montreal.
