It ended the first edition of "Water Friendly", competition for nursery schools, primary and secondary of the province of Bergamo, promoted by the Consortium of Reclamation's Mid Plains Bergamo. The initiative has been a great success, sensitizing the younger generation on the need to protect and conserve water, precious, for the responsible use and proper.
In 300 pupils attending the awards ceremony, have turned into a big party in the name of our "Water Friendly". To the young winners were given in recognition of teaching materials for the quality of their writing, who have shown great sensitivity on the subject.
The first edition of the competition has gone far beyond the most optimistic expectations of the organizers. The creations of the students were very much appreciated by orobica Board for fantasy, creativity and inventiveness. Drawings, stories, elaborate scientific and plays were particularly good, expressing full awareness of preservation and protection of water resources. Although the event was paid to institutes of Bergamo, works have come from all over Italy. For this reason it was decided to give honorable mentions to the schools, although not indigenous to the area, have distinguished themselves by the quality and brilliance of their developed.
Given the remarkable success of the first edition, Reclaiming the Media Consortium Plain Bergamo is reflecting on the possibility to repeat the contest again next year, as he explains the President Marcello Moro: "This is an experience not only to repeat, but also and above all to be developed with new tools and adequate. We need to start by the new generations, by children and young people, to instill and promote a renewed sensitivity to the strategic issues of water and the environment in general. I am really very happy with the result of the initiative and convince me that this is the right path to take ".
"Water Friendly" was sponsored by the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea, by the Ministry of Education and Research, by the Regional Council of Lombardy, School by the Province and the Province of Bergamo. The students' creations will be exhibited at the third edition of the "Inter Walk" on Sunday 24 May. Sentierone will be present on a stand dedicated to the consortium within which you can watch the works of the participating schools.
